# How to connect Jotform to Platformly

### What's JotForm?

JotForm is a powerful yet easy-to-use online app that allows you to quickly create custom online forms. Their intuitive, drag-and-drop user interface makes it super easy to build forms, without any technical knowledge required on your part.

**How does this integration work with Platformly?**

This integration allows you to collect basic lead information (name and email address) through JotForm and do advanced lead segmenting and tagging based on user answers.

### How to connect Jotform to Platformly?

1. Click the drop-down menu in the top right corner and select the **Integrations** tab. Go to **All Integrations** and click the **JotForm** icon.

3. Click the **Connect a New Form** button and then choose a form to integrate with. Name your integration and complete the setup by matching fields between the two platforms. You can choose to tag and segment based on users answers or add custom fields to your contacts. For example, if a user rate your service as 4 or 5, segment them as "Satisfied customers".

3. Save the rule to complete the integration.

| Note: With this integration, Platformly only picks up the name, email address and simple custom fields. If you have a complex form or complex custom fields, you will need to use webhooks, to be able to match JotForm's complex fields to Platformly custom fields. You can find out more about the JotForm webhook setup [here](https://www.jotform.com/help/245-how-to-setup-a-webhook-with-jotform/) and how to set it up from Platformly [here](https://help.platform.ly/en/article/setting-up-webhooks-nyntks/).
