How limits work in Platformly

Every Platformly account has its own limits based on the subscription plan and possible add-ons.

You can increase your limits by upgrading to a higher plan or, if you want to increase the limit in a specific section, you can purchase an add-on.

Limit Types

There are 2 types of limits:

1) Fixed Limits
- These limits are fixed, which means they are not reset every month. They are global limits, per account - no matter the number of projects created.

2) Recurring Limits
- These limits are recurring, which means they are reset every 1st of the month.

Account Limits

Here is a quick summary of the different limits within a Platformly account:

Contacts

Type: Fixed Limit
Number of contacts that you can add/store within your account.

You get closer to the limit every time you add a new contact. Contacts can be imported, added manually, added via an optin form, added via API...

Emails

Type: Recurring Limit (reset every month)
Number of emails that you can send every month via the default Platformly mailer.

You can overwrite this limit by adding one or several 3rd party sending mailer(s), like SendGrid or MailJet for example, and send emails via those mailers instead of ours. Learn more here...

Type: Recurring Limit (reset every month)
Number of (unique) people/clicks for your tracking links, per month.

Every visitor that clicks on a tracking link is counted as 1 click. If they come back and click it again, they are recognized by our tracking system, based on their IP address, etc. These clicks are thus not considered as additional clicks.

Page Visits

Type: Recurring Limit (reset every month)
Number of (unique) people/visits for your landing pages, per month.

Every visitor that lands on your landing page is counted as 1 visit. If they come back and visit it again, they are recognized by our tracking system, based on their IP address, etc. These visits are thus not considered as additional visits.

These limits apply on any landing page created in Platformly, which means they apply even if you show the page over a domain pointed to us or get the HTML code and add it to your website.

These visits count because we serve a lot of calls in the background and use our CDN to provide the images and other types of files.

Note: However, these limits do not apply for landing pages created in a system other than Platformly.

Dashboards

Type: Fixed Limit
Number of dashboards that you can add/store within your account.

You get closer to the limit every time you create a new dashboard. The maximum number of widgets per dashboard is 15.

If you have 10 projects and are limited to 3 dashboards, you can create 3 dashboards within 1 project, or 1 dashboard in 3 different projects, but not more than 3 dashboards in total.

Integrations

Type: Fixed Limit
Number of services that you can connect within your account.

You get closer to the limit every time you connect a new service.

If you disconnect a service, your usage reduces, which means you can connect a new service.

Note: By default, we include 7 integrations in every Platformly account, which are not included in your balance: ClickBank, PayPal, Paddle, Stripe, PLY API Docs, PLY WordPress Plugin, PLY Chrome Extension

Domains

Type: Fixed Limit
Number of domains that you can add/point to us.

You get closer to the limit every time you add a new domain.

This is a global limit, per account.

Transactions

Type: Recurring Limit (reset every month)
Number of transactions that you can add/store within your account, per month.

You get closer to the limit every time a new transaction is received.

Transactions can be imported and/or received from an IPN service, if you add a Platformly IPN URL within your payment processor.
